About Wilder Flooring

Owner Some of Ryan's earliest childhood memories include climbing around on carpets and riding in the passenger's seat of his dad's van. Ryan was on job sites as young as 7 years old picking up debris and vacuuming newly installed carpets under his father's watchful eye. Installing flooring was his job every summer break through High School and College. People will often ask Ryan, "How long have you been doing this?" and as he likes to put it "I never mowed lawns or made frappes, flooring is what I've always done, and I genuinely love where it has taken me." Ryan has endless knowledge of the industry and coupled with his friendly personality you will be comfortable and confident from the start. From product application, current design trends, Ryan strives to provide his clients with the best products and service the Seacoast has to offer. Ryan is our "Technical Guru" and his first-hand experience as an installer gives him an edge in the industry that most retail store owners don't have. Ryan has worked in all types of residential and commercials settings and has extensive building and remodeling knowledge. We work with many other local businesses and tradesmen who rely on Ryan's expertise and attention to detail and especially his realistic approach to every project that comes across his desk. Our DIY customers know they can call on Ryan at any stage of an installation because at Wilder Flooring, we care about you long after you walk out the door- we care about the lifetime of your floor! When Ryan took over ownership of Rymar Flooring Company at 28 years old after his father passed away, it was his goal to expand the company in his community to a full sales and service operation. In 2022 Ryan acquired Wilder Flooring and began to meld the companies together. The Marsh Family is proud to continue the strong foundation that Kenny so thoughtfully built years ago. Today Ryan's dreams have been accomplished, and he has been able to share his success with his family, starting a legacy for his children to continue.

Owner Hayley jumped into the company and flooring world when she met Ryan, but she is no stranger to construction. She grew up in a family of home builders and custom craftsmen on the beautiful island of New Castle. Hayley's parents still live in the house her father built many years ago and loves nothing more than all the character of the wide pine boards that have aged with time and so many memories! Hayley is not only the creator of the funny signs you read on the marquee, but she is also The Queen of the Showroom! With a background in hospitality, she brings that warm & genuine, personal touch to every aspect of a project. Whether you are picking the perfect species and grade of hardwood for your new construction project or floor and wall tile for your custom shower- Hayley will ask the right questions to guide you to the perfect choices for any space. She has extensive knowledge of all the products in Wilder's well organized and consistently updated showroom and beyond. In the Spring of 2025 Hayley & Ryan volunteered at their son's elementary school Career Fair and many of the kids asked Hayley if she liked her job. Her enthusiastic response was that she LOVES her job! Being the face of the showroom and having the opportunity to meet so many incredible people from the Northwood community and surrounding towns has been the highlight of her career.
